Olesya Sidorkina, Esq.

Olesya Sidorkina is the founder and managing attorney of Essential Legal Planning, PLLC. She represents individuals, families, and business owners throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC in estate planning, probate and trust administration, trust and estate litigation, business law, guardianships, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Before founding Essential Legal Planning, Olesya practiced estate planning, probate, trust and estate litigation, and civil litigation before serving as corporate counsel for a multi-billion-dollar corporation, where she advised on complex commercial contracts, real estate transactions, employment matters, and other corporate legal issues. Her diverse legal background allows her to provide practical, personalized guidance to both families and businesses.

In addition to representing fiduciaries, Olesya has firsthand experience serving as a trustee and personal representative/executor, giving her a unique understanding of the legal and practical responsibilities involved in administering trusts and estates.

Outside the office, Olesya enjoys spending time with her friends, husband and children, traveling, scuba diving, running, practicing yoga, playing squash, and losing herself with a good book.
